How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches out to Localfield Mold Help to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what follows. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience when calling or contacting Localfield Mold Help
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • How a provider we connected you with behaved

If the Problem Is a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, test results, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly and keep a written record.

We still want to hear about it. Feedback helps keep our network honest, and providers who often fall short of our expectations may be removed. Please know that Localfield Mold Help cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

Sending Your Complaint

Email contact@localfield.garden and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like

After You Write

We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened, which may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

Still Unhappy?

If you are not satisfied with our reply, answer the email and ask us to take another look. You can also reach out to your state consumer protection office or attorney general, or to your local Better Business Bureau. If your state licenses mold assessors or remediators, the licensing agency may be able to help too.
